Dr Mujajati’s company sadly collapses after 12 years of operation

“We had to close, sometimes as entrepreneurs we fail to see that the end has come because we are so emotionally invested in the business.” He said. Dr Mujajati was Born and raised by a Lozi woman insisted him never to make excuses in life. She demanded two things from all her 10 children, going to church and going to school, those two were not negotiable.  She seemingly added a third demand him such that as young as 13 to 15 years old he was responsible for going to sell her chickens at the market. She even did some cross border trading where he was travelling between Zambia and Zimbabwe to bring merchandise for her business. It was whilst in medical school when he liquidated his stocks and part of the money he made from eggs and bought his first car. That marked the beginning of his transport business. He registered a company called Cubit Zambia Limited.  My taxis grew up to about eleven vehicles on the road. After experiencing some challenges he sold all the vehicles and went into car rental which Cubit Zambia has been doing till now.  “I don't know how long one must try before giving up and move on to something else. It's not an exact science but i think one needs mentors or sound boards that can be brutally honest with you yet very gentle. It took me a long time to admit but it had to be done. We cut off the dead leg so we can live to fight another day. Entrepreneurship is hard but necessary.” He said.
