A 15-YEAR-OLD boy in Monze, Southern province of Zambia, has killed his father in cold blood over nshima, the staple food in Zambia as poverty levels escalate.
He pushed his 51-year-old father, who fell down and is suspected to have crashed his head on a piece of metal according to the state owned Zambia Daily Mail newspaper.
Southern Province police commanding officer Auxensio Daka, who confirmed the incident, said the juvenile has been detained for the murder of his father identified as Ignatius Matimba.
The incident is reported to have happened around 09:00 hours on Saturday.
