In a circulated heated phone conversation between Vice-President
Mutale Nalumango and former President Hakainde Hichilema’s campaigner Rachel
Chileshe, the two exchanged sharp words and ended up calling each other mad.
Some sources reveal that Chileshe has reacted to police
spokesperson Rae Hamoonga’s threats that she should not complain if she is
cited for contempt if she continues “ranting” over the Hatembo case, saying she
is actually ready.
However Vice President
Mutale Nalumango is against the arrest of Racheal Chileshe for the harsh
remarks and apparent recording and circulation of her private conversation with
the Vice President without her consent.
A source close to Mrs. Nalumango claims, the Police were today
geared to pick Ms. Chileshe from her residence for alleged interrogation but
the decision was thwarted.
The source further says the Vice President, is however hurt by Ms. Chileshe’s behaviuor, but because of her Christian beliefs she has opted not to allow vengeance to take center stage.
